My recent stay at Maria Maria in Bacalar was truly memorable. The hotel's proximity to the stunning lagoon made our daily swims a highlight, and the upgraded room with a balcony added a touch of luxury to our family vacation. The friendly staff, including the adorable resident cat, Pepe, created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Despite the language barrier, their assistance, especially with the laundry service, was impeccable.Our family enjoyed the modest yet delicious breakfast, and the provision of a comfortable baby crib exceeded our expectations. The authentic wooden windows added charm to the room, although an extra heater would have been appreciated during colder nights. Maria Maria's prime location near the center and lagoon, coupled with its family-friendly amenities, make it a top choice in Bacalar. Exploring Bacalar on a Monohull sailing boat was one of the most memorable experiences for my family. The serene cruise aboard a Hobie Cat catamaran allowed us to unwind and appreciate the beauty of the area. Maria Maria proved to be the perfect base for our family adventures, and we look forward to returning in the future. A solid choice for families seeking a cozy retreat in Bacalar.
